SUBJECT: What is your favourite non punitive parenting tool or activity?
Everyone can join in here because even if you spank or punish some of the time, I bet you have some awesome non punitive tools you use other times.

I am thinking, if we all share a tool or activity we use instead of punishment or a story about how you handled a difficult behaviour without punishing, then we all walk away from here with even more non punitive tools in our box!

Mine is patience. The tool I am most proud of having is patience. It's not fun to have to use it, but I am always proud of myself when I do.

I am also proud of myself when I get up off the couch and lead my child rather than being lazy.

What are some of yours?
