SUBJECT: 2 year old and timeouts
Please help! I have a 2 1/2 year old that is starting to have bad behavior. She will throw fits and not do as she is told. Her preschool teacher even told me that she will not follow directions. I am all for timeouts, the only problem I have is where to make her take the time out. We have a half door on her room but I don't want to make her room a punishment room. Not to mention all the toys and the TV is in there. Is is ok to strap them to a chair for a timeout(like a booster chair seet for the diner table), because it will be a big fight otherwise???
