My son has been a nawing, gumming, slobbering, chewing mess for about ooooh 2-3 months and he's only 5 months old. I even took him to the Dr at 4 mo. and made him check to see if he was teething. He said nol. I have heard they can feel pressure, and I have heard they just like to chew. Most they say do not get teeth until aroung 7 months. I swore up & down mine was going to get his early...but still no teeth. In the mean time he enjoys chewing on the dinning room chair legs, we got that on tape. My biggest frustration was he could not hold onto anything to help him. Try a variety of easy to hold teething rings. I even had some kitchen utinsels with rubber handles he enjoys while I cook. Soak a rag in water and pop it in the freezer for a few mins (not so its stiff). In a few months her grip will get better and she will find favorites to chew on. Sorry thats all I have for ya. GL
