 | It sounds like our little ones are IDENTICAL. Noah never fusses at night or just after waking. The update is after I written this they put him in the hospital for testing because he refused to eat all day. They put a scope down him to see if everything was okay and there wasn't burning or anything from his reflux. The test proved everything to be normal, so the GI on call there changed his formula to Nutramigen. I had told my doctor time and time again that all of these problems had started since we started giving him formula (Similac Advanced). My doctor didn't think there was a problem so he was hesitant to change it, you think he would have tried that instead of putting him under anesthesia for a scope. The GI at the hospital said that he thought it sounded like a classic case of protien intolerance in cow's milk, so he switched to Nutramigen which is hypoallergenic. My son now has done almost a complete 180, he still has a hard time about once a day, but a different doctor said that we were taking an improper dose of Prevacid and he needed to take 5 ml per day. He seems to be doing much better. What kind of formula is your son on?? If I were you I would change to Nutramigen or Allimentum, despite the price of it because it really helps colic and reflux. Let me know if you'd like to talk futher about this, I wish I had someone to talk to about all of this. Hope everything gets better for you, it's hard to see our little ones struggle to eat.
