i read a lot of things like this on here and often wonder how as parents we let this happen. by this i mean that because someone is a teacher or daycare provider we second guess our instincts or are afraid to speak up for ourselves and our kids. if this woman was just another parent and she acted this way to your child i would bet you would just keep your kids away from her kids and that would be that. there are great teachers and schools out there. follow your instincts and surround your daughter with people who will encourage and support her in her first experience out in the world. ask around and see what schools/programs/teachers other people are raving about. word of mouth works for us(doctors, dentists, playgroups. also, don't be shy about voicing your concerns if you keep her where she is, that is your right and duty. good luck to you and your daughter.
