 | hi. i'm a mother of a 5 months old. I got pregnant as soon as I graduated from grad school, so I only worked in my profession only for about 6 months and had to quit. In the beginning, I actually wanted to go back to work because I was so stressed out about looking after my baby, and i was not used to staying home and I thought it would do me good to work at least part-time. Now that I'm used to being a stay-home mom, I am too attached to my baby and I feel like other people won't be as good of a care-giver as I am to my 5 months old son. My husband and his family wants me to go back to work partly to bring home that extra money, and partly because they think it's a waste of my education and my degree just to stay home with the baby. I never wanted to be pregnant in the first place, but it happenned... now that i'm used to this life, they want me to go back to work and leave my son with my in-laws. what should I do? when do you think is a good age to leave a child to a baby sitter? |
