Hi Tracey,
If you try the Goodstart and that does not work, you may want to try the Nutramigen. If she is very gassy and crying so much, she may have a protein allergy/intolerance and the Nutramigen will help more than the Goodstart. My son is on an amino acid based formula, Neocate. He is 12 mos with severe reflux and multiple protein allergies. He is formula only, no foods as we cannot find one he can tolerate. His reflux is what they call "silent reflux". You can see him reflux, but for the most part he swallows it (yuck) instead of spitting it up. I would also recomment to you that you see a pediatric GI.
