SUBJECT: back arching at 8 weeks
I have a question about my 8 week old son. I notice him arching his back a lot, and when I am burping him he prefers to tilt his head back (although I think he's trying to look at the ceiling fan) He doesn't always do this, and usually it's just when he's fussy. Sometimes he'll push back when you try to get him into a sitting position, but not all of the time. Otherwise he's developing normally...smiles, cooing, pushes head up while on stomach...is the back arching something I should be concerned about? Do some infants do this just when they're mad?? Any other babies do this??
