Erwin, the message was kinda aimed at both you and the originator with the twin boys but since you questioned it. If I'm not mistaking, ADD is where the child spaces out and looses concentration except as you say, "when it benifits him". Since Noah is adopted (in my case) ADD is hereditary and my genes aren't his but his birthmoms antics, his two head tramas ect..... come into factor. I am a foster parent and will check out the ADD section. I have only surfed the ADHD area. You can check it out also in www.fosterparents.com and go to online training. You will learn a bunch or search the subject. I didn't want to believe Noah was AD whatever but really overlooked the obvious. Meds worked in my case (so far) but they aren't for everyone. There may be an underlying issue that hasn't come to a head yet. Have you taken him to the Dr.? Now that I know that my two nephews are ADHD, their mom (my sister) is ADHD (but not as hyper) and my dad who did have all of the traits of ADHD (work a holic and pretty hyper) I realize I have one form of it but won't go to the Dr.
Good luck and keep us posted.
