If he watches what you are watching, probably. Or if he goes to someone's house and starts watching them playing a video game or watching TV with them.

I noticed that my son was dreaming about things he was seeing. For example, I let him watch the movied called "Dinosaur"--I think disney makes it. He dreamed about dinosaurs chasing him for a month. Same thing with the Spiderman cartoon movie. There's character on there that has many arms. He got major nightmares from that, and it took me the longest time to figure out where he was seeing tentacles. He kept screaming about tentacles in the middle of the night. A lot of movies "broke" or got "lost" at my house. He just watches the tame stuff now.
