SUBJECT: HYPNOSIS during labor
I saw a television special a few years ago about an obstetrician in Florida who offered hypnosis training to expectant mothers who wanted to self-hypnotize themselves during early labor as a way of dealing with the pain. The results were mixed for the four couples chronicled.
I am now pregnant in Ft. Lauderdale and would like to look into this further. Has anyone heard of this? If so, please share and can you direct me to where to go for more information? Thanks.
