We are also having a problem with our 16 month son. He use to love his crib until this weekend. He screams, paces in his crib and throws everything out. He ended up climbing out. I don't understand. He usually points to his bed to go to sleep. Took him to the Dr. hoping it was teething or ear infection. Dr. could find nothing. Said maybe night terrors. He prescribed my son an antihistamine to help him sleep at night. The Dr wants to stop his anxiety and nip it in the but. We now will have to put him in a toddler bed if he climbs out again. Once he is asleep he is fine but it is the 2 hours of just getting him down for a nap or at night is very nerve racking. I feel so bad that something is causing this anxiety. I even crawled into his crib for a nap with him to show him there is nothing to be afraid of. I will let you know how today goes. I am dreading putting him down for a nap.
