SUBJECT: temper tantrum with new baby
Since the birth our son three weeks ago my 3yo daughter has become so unbearable with her temper tantrums, she screams, yells, hits and doesn’t listen no matter what. She yells at both my wife and I to “don’t talk”. Runs in her room kicking refuses to nap etc. Up until his birth she was pretty much an angel, we had our problems but nothing out of the ordinary, now my wife calls me during the day crying at how bad she is. We tried time out that doesn’t work, I refuse to spank her we have taken her toys away etc and noting seems to work. I know she is jealous of the baby but since his birth she has gotten so many toys and so much attention not just from us but from friends and family. Does any one have any idea about what to do?

Give the daughter a baby (doll) she has to care for...

She may be mad she's not the baby. Point out how great it is to be a big girl.
