We are having the same problem with our 13 month old boy, he wakes up and screams if we put him in his crib and is OK and sleeps if we lay on the floor with him at night and naps, He is so restless when he sleeps and thrashes all over that I think he was uncomfortable in the crib, we are thinking about getting a mattress to put down in his room at night on the floor, we have been on the living room floor for the past month and we are both exhausted! I dont want to put him in our bed and refuse to start that habit, He will wake up and do "spot checks" to see if we are there at night as well, we slip off to bed for a couple of hrs here and there and one of us ends up with him in the living room with all the pillows/blankets, etc. Let me know if you find anything that works! I am afraid of the toddler bed because of his restlessness and think he would fall out and maybe get hurt, it seems you get rid of one problem and get another, Maybe we can keep in touch for support if anything else, good luck! Christine
