SUBJECT: Hitting himself...
My son turned 2 in May, and over the past several months I have noticed an alarming behavior. When he gets into trouble and I speak in "MOMMY VOICE" at him, he begins to hit himself... heel of his hand on his forhead...
I have tried ignoring it... when I do, he continues to do it... up to 5 minutes!! I have tried simply saying "Please don't hit yourself"... he will hit himself once or twice more... then stop... I don't understand this... anyone else have a child doing this?? What can/should I do to make it stop??
