SUBJECT: Feeling Numb
My grandmother died two weeks ago today. She was my best friend and we had a very close relationship, her death was quick and quite unexpected.
Initially within the first 48 hours I cried a lot and was devastated, now I find that I am feeling very numb and not emotional. I watch my family members cry and express their grief. I find I am able to talk about it, in a very factual way but I am concerned about the feeling I have, its like I am a robot and not feeling the sadness, I'd like to talk to anyone who is familiar with this feeling.
