AUTHOR: dennlarry | | | I have never written on a message board before, but have to say that I could not resist this time. I also have PCO along with insulin resistance (which go hand in hand). I have been taking glucophauge (metformin) for over two and a half years now. My husband and I feel that we are ready for a baby, and was a little concerned about my chances of getting pregnant. My doctor said that it would not be a problem, but in my mind I know that I am different than the average person. I feel much more at ease now that I have heard some success stories of people on metformin. We just started trying last month and it did not happen then, but we will keep trying. I am sure that things will be fine. I just wanted to say thanks for posting your stories, and that I look forward to being able to post a story of my own soon. | |  | |
