SUBJECT: 17 Month Sleep Issues
My 17 month old daughter, our first child, hates bedtime/naptime. She used to go down with no problems, just a kiss and a cuddle and that was it. Now she starts to work herself up even before we get to her room and will, frequently, vomit a small amount. She never vomits at any other time, so I am convinced that she is working herself into such a state as to vomit because she knows it tugs at our heart strings and we find it hard to clean her up and put her back to bed. We've been working on doing just that, but now even though we let her cry(scream)herself to sleep, it seems like she wakes herself up throughout the night. I've been wondering about moving her to a regular mattress on the floor as she seems to be so anti-crib. Any thoughts suggestions on the above?
