SUBJECT: 4 yo rough with baby
My 4 year old started out rough-housing with my baby (kind of wrestling, like his dad was doing with him). Then she became rough with the other babies at her daycare. So I put a stop to all rough-housing at home, and the baby's behavior improved dramatically. Then it started again. Now is turns out that the 4 year old gets rough with her whenever I cannot see them. He hits her over the head with stuffed animals, shoves her, etc. He does it very quietly. He chooses things that do not make her cry, but teach her the behavior. Aside from never leaving them alone, does anyone have any suggestions?
