hi shelley
my son was diagnosed with add also. i had taken him to a pediatrician and had alot of tests done to be sure he was add. well after he first went on the medication he was a new child. the difference was like night and day he stated to enjoy going to school, his grades went up and he was much happier.he was on a slow release pill just when he went to school we didnt use it on the weekends. now he is 19 years old and he is going to college. he still takes his pills he is 6ft tall and very healthy. i had heard alot of horro stories about it but really not think he would have been successful without it good luck to you both..carrie
