SUBJECT: how to tell 3 yr old about death of his rat
Recently, I had to put my son's rat to sleep. I wasn't going to mention it to him. He didn't play with her hardly ever and she stayed in our room so he never had a chance to let her loose. He just asked me where "Two" was (my son named her). I told her that she died. He said "Go get her then". I tryed to explain but it didn't work. Finally, he got aggrevated and walked away. He has asked twice since then. The same thing everytime.

Now my question is, what do I say the next time he asks?

Thank you in advance for any answers.
