SUBJECT: Boys will be Boys ?
Hello, I need help or advice on when is it not just boys being boys? I have twin boys and they have had problems in school with not finishing class work to being distrupted and so forth. They are in the fourth grade now but this has been going on for about the last 2 years or so. when I have spoke to thier teachers they say it is just boys being boys. But it has spilled over to home now , and they do not want to do homework. They will be sitting there with thier work but seem a million miles away. They are often having outburst or losing thier tempers. They have recently gotten so mad at thier Aunt because they could not do something and threw something at her and went off yelling and crying. The only why they can do thier homework is if I am standing guard and making sure they are not daydreaming and in silience. Just a little bit of noise sets them off. I do not know if it may be just boys being boys or something more. I have heard about ADHD and so on but the teachers are telling me it is not that they can not do it , it is that they do not want to.Or that saying that I am tired of hearing "Boys Will Be Boys"
