In answer to your question its possible,but the odds are against it.
If your period lasts for say 5-6 days and your cycle is short say 21 days you will usually ovulate on day 9-11 then if you ovulate early it is possible,but also remember that sperm can live for a few days in a womans body so it all depends on your personal circumstances.I do feel that the odds are against you becoming pregnant just after as most women will not be near there ovulation time.Try not to worry,all you can do is wait.Not sure about the cramps maybe they are just period cramps,try not worry and let us know how you got on.
