SUBJECT: Is it any wonder...
that the world is in the state it is in.

I am fairly new to this site and have posted advice (good I hope) and asked for help with problems I am encountering with my son. Yet so many people seem to think that this site is about forcing opinions on each other, without any thought to how these might upset others.

Some of the replies to parents questions are treated with such disrespect and animosity that it almost feels that the reader is in the middle of a war zone.

These authors of nasty posts must have the most perfect children and lives and must see the rest of us as incapable fools who should never have given birth. Please, try and understand, some people who use this site have real problems or dilemas with their children and are reaching out for help to solve them - not looking for abuse with regards to their child rearing skills.
Not everyone has been through this before and are still learning something new with their first child.

Try and have a little respect for other people and their feelings and think before you reply to a post.
