SUBJECT: baby hates going out
I'm a stay at home mom and some days the only thing that will keep me sane is to get out of the house for a while with my 9.5 month old daughter. Whether it's running errands or taking a stroll in shopping mall, my daughter can only handle about 30-45 minutes of being away from home. She'll start crying out of control and i'm forced to leave. I've tried bringing along toys, pacifier, a bottle and cheerios and nothing helps. I haven't even tried to take her to a restaurant because I can only imagine the nightmare that would bring. When will I get my life back and is this behavior normal? I hate staying in the house all day, but the stress of taking her anywhere is possibly worse. Any advise? Am I expecting too much of my baby?
