SUBJECT: My 5-yr old just gave 1st URINE SAMPLE!!! Unbelievable great experience.....more......
It was the weirdest thing! I've never seen anything like it but it was a day I had dreaded for months. It was this two-piece thing the nurse put on the commode with a bowl in it. She set a specimen cup in the bottom of this bowl thing and told my daughter to just sit on the potty and use the bathroom. It was a sterile collection so I wiped her like I normally would but she gave a sample and I didn't even have to touch her. Unbelievable. This thing had handles on it and I moved it from the back to the front to catch the urine underneath her. It was the greatest thing I had ever seen. I asked the nurse for some information on the product but she said they only had gotten 3 of them to try out. GET MORE I told her. I call the company to see if I could get some for my home as we have UTI's frequently and have to take samples into our doctor's office. The company said it was a brand new product and to ask my physician to carry it. For all our sakes' please ask your doctors to carry the Tru-Catch and here is the web-site. www.tru-catch.com. I found out it's based in Nokesville, Virginia. Call Oprah Winfrey and get her to have the inventor on her show. The inventor is a woman. I don't know her name but it's on her website. Sure changed my life.
