SUBJECT: getting pregnant and endometriosis
Hi when I was 18 I had surgery for endometriosis. I am now trying to get pregnant and am not having any luck so far. The doctor had put me on birth control pills all the time. I would take the first 3 weeks of a pack then start a new pack, so I wouldn't have a period. He said this would help slow down the endometriosis from growing back so fast. I haven't been on the pill for at least 6 months now and still haven't conceived. I love children and want one of my own very bad. I have read books and looked up information on the internet. I feel like I am running out of options. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years and have talked to his mother about it. She said that it took her 4-5 years to get pregnant for his older sister. Could it be the same for him since it took his dad so long to get his mom pregnant? Please let me know what you think . Thank you , Mahlyee
