I bet you're having a ball with your little one. She's just starting to come out of the newborn stage and will soon begin doing all sorts of things.

The simplest way to know if your baby is too young to do something is whether or not she can do it. Since she cannot swallow the cereal off the spoon, I would continue to feed her with the bottle and practice with the spoon (make sure the spooned cereal is thin so that she doesn't get choked). Eventually she'll get it.
