I don't blame you! I'm from Jackson, NJ and just removed my 2 1/2 year old daughter from her nursery school this week. She has been bitten, pinched and hit at least 10-15 times that I know of since October. I've been told on numerous occasions that they were being separated and then find out that once again they were together after my daughter told me on her own about the last bite herself. The staff did not even inform me or give an incident report, even though when confronted they admitted witnissing the incident. I've also been given numerous excuses, such as "she keeps going over to him", "she's not afraid of him", "the other kids stay away", etc. I was very surprised that the owner has not asked the parents to remove the child. Instead, she let me leave. And that tells me something about the school's priorities. I think there should be regulations and that day care centers and nursery schools should be held accountable for children's physical safety, as well as their behavioral problems caused by such repeated incidents. I waited too long. Take your child out and find a better quality school!
