AGHHHH!!! "it took 2 nights of at least an hour of crying on his part before he fell asleep and then he was fine with it" He wasnt fine he gave up !!!! You created ,unknowingly, a sense of despair and insecurityin your child, in that your childs cries wil be left unanswered...... The orphan babies in romania dont cry either, they know no one will answer, they have benn left alone and neglected with severe developmenatl and psychological problems. I am suree you care for your childrenmuch more than anyone cares for those poor babes... Please dont do that!! Its awful try having a bottle next to your bed if you dont nurse or a cradle you can rock and reassure them you are there when h becomes secure he will move out on his own with no crying!!!!
