Well I would like to know how old this girl is and if you have been dating so long over the internet if you feel you may have missed out on many opportunities to have relationships with people in your own local community. Besides if you and this girl in the us are really ment to be than in time when you are both of age you will be able to travel as much as possible. Also has she considered going to spend christmas in the UK? I mean love is a two way street would it be so bad for her to come to you? Or do her parents habor the same concerns as yours. I don't have any advice for changing your parents minds in the short run, all I can say is that soon you will be 18 and if she isn't willing to wait for you to become an adult and see her on your terms than maybe she isn't the right girl. Its something to think about. Besides things always seem greener on the other side. I think you should open yourself up for new opportunites in your local area and if in a year you still feel the same way you can come to the US on your own free will. So good luck to you and if she is the one she will understand and want whats in your best intrest for you even if that means waiting for you to become and adult.
