What a great website to have for parents if, they use it... I feel a reply is in need to the injustice that has escalated in Britney Spears life... I feel she was singing to the general public about how life as teen in her eyes is I dont' believe she targeted young teens...I also think it is ridiculous that parents complain of her hit song Baby, Hit Me One More Time" in NO WAY did this song vocalized that she enjoyed being hit or abused. I am in my 20's and in slang used today Hit Me One More Time means that a girl wants a guy she is interested in to TALK TO HER meaning to possibly DATE HER "TO HIT HER UP"... Not anything else. I find it apalling that this acuquition has been made with her in mind... in the 80's there was a song (and it is still played today) "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" some of the lyrics are 'hit me with your best shot, and fire way' Now, I don't see why this song is not critized because the lyrics express plainly that she is wanting to be hit... NOT THE CASE... the woman the song is sung about is singing that she is a strong and indepent person and doesn't need a man to bring her down...a hit to her self estem; hence 'hit me with your best shot'I would like as many responses to see if other people agree with me or disagree...
