Can you start slowly and work only part time at first? A slow transition might be easier-on both of you! If you can't do that, send her to the day care center you've chosen just a few days a week for a couple of hours a day before you go back to work. Go get your shopping done, grab a cup of tea, take a girlfriend and spend an hour going out to lunch or shopping. It can also ease your mind if you come to pick her up and find her happy.
