I have never had any experience with this..yet. But I can imagine how you feel. I have an 8 month old son too. It would be SO SO hard to be away from him for a week. But don't worry about him forgeting you. He could never forget his mamma. Do you have a video camera? You could video tape a few minutes of yourself talking to your little one and have your husband play it for him while they are away. My husband went away for 10 days and that's what we did. I played it everyday and my son loved it.

Take Care,
Julie
