SUBJECT: Infant Colic
Do you have a child with (or had) Infant Colic?

My daughter had infant colic. If your child has, or has had, colic YOU ARE NOT ALONE! and, I need your help!

During my daughters near 6 months of colic, I looked for anything that could help. I wanted to know if what my daughter was going thru was "normal" for a colicky child. I wanted to know what caused it, what the recent research was and most of all what I could do about it. How could I help my little girl.

All the baby books had a small section on colic but I could find no book dedicated to just colic.

I did find a book from 1985, "Infant Colic, What it is and What you can do about it" written by Chris Farran, that had everything I was looking for, though outdated, by 20 years.

I contacted Mr. Farran and asked him why this book was no longer in print. He has since begun to update his book for reprint. Here's where you the, parents of colicky babies, come in.

The problem: The Agents, Editors, and Publishers DON'T THINK THERE IS A MARKET for such a book and are hesitant to reprint the updated version.

How can you help? Please help me get this books updated version on the shelves.

E-mail me at Babieswithcolic@msn.com if you would/would have found a book like this useful. I will group e-mails and see that they get to Mr. Farran. Maybe if we all come together we can get this book back in print.

I am NOT any kind of agent for this book. I am a mother who went through the worst time of my life and wish to help other parents make it through such a rough time.

Thanks so much for your interest and help.
