My son came home from kindergarten at the end of last school year with ringworm, which he caught from a classmate. Ringworm, to my understanding, is a fungal infection similar to athlete's foot. My son's doc prescribed Lamisil to be applied twice a day. We've all caught ringworm at one point this summer, and if you catch it early, it'll usually disappear in about 1 or 2 weeks with twice daily usage of Lamisil. Just be sure to wash your hands and the things you touch really well because it is a fungus, and fungus is kinda hard to kill.
Hope that helps your wallet some!
