Actually I disagree with your reply. I had the same thing happen...I talked to 2 sexual health nurses, a Registered Nurse, parental councellor, and a mental health nurse.
All of them said that it is NOT a good idea to put them into councelling because having someone talk to them just makes them feel bad...the best is when the parent talks to them and keeps an open line of communication...buy books on the body and Privacy and read with them (www.chapters.com) has some real good books ...one of which is "What's the Big Secret" aimed at children 5-8 yrs of age..there are great ones for older children out there also.
I was ready to pull my kids into therapy and was told that I was the one who needed it(to learn to deal with sexuality) far more then the boys.
I was lucky though because in our case the other boy and ours still play together...supervised more though...but all is good Thank God!! :-)
