SUBJECT: Pubic hair growth
My little girl is 10 months old and she started getting dark hair growth on her pubic mount around 9 months old and had a huge grwoth spurt around this age which has taken her off the normal growth chart. 10 days ago she also developed this insatiable thirst and drinks around 750ml per day in extra fluid (apart from her bottles of formula). I'm anxiously waiting for my pediatrician to get me an appointment with an endocrinologist but she has mentioned "diabetes insipidus" (inadequate antidiuretic hormone production by the pituitary) as a diagnosis for the excessive fluid intake.
Did anyone else have this problem as well as the hair growth??
