Are you starting to wonder why there are currently 40 responses to your post and not one is agreeing with you? Not one person in the whole country agrees with you enough to even write a post! I want to know if you come from an educated family. My family has always wanted more for their children then what they had. I do think you think that you are doing what is best for your children but how do you expect your child to support a family when you are not going to help them go to a good college.

Have you asked your children if they want to be poor for the rest of their lives? I feel so sorry for them.

I guess if I didn't have an education and could only make minimum wage it wouldn't be worth it for me to work; however, I am educated and can make a good living that will let me give my children a better/easier life and maybe my son will be able to make enough money to let his wife stay home with their kids without being poor, IF the wife would like to stay home.

If you are sharing a room with your children, how do you keep a happy marriage, from what it sounds like you both are on your second marriage, sharing a bedroom with children and being poor does not seem like a recipe for a successful marriage.

Just so you know, your attitude makes me happy that I am a working mother. I would NEVER want to be like you. You have probably made more people decide to go back to work then to stay home.
