I find this person extremely frightening and fear for her children. Her posts are so erratic. Maybe some of her "neighbors" should look into some local help--she's given her info freely all over this site and the web. When I saw "I live my life by Dr. Laura" I laughed. Dr. Laura has a PHd in something like Physical education and have suckered people in to live by her "opinion" on life. That's sad. Since you obviously sit around on the computer all day why don't you research her creditials before you ruin your childrens lives. I work all day. I'm well educated, have a great career and I'm a great Mom. My child is well cared for and will have the best that life has to offer. I'm proud of that and could care less what someone, who obviously has some self image issues, posts on the Dr. Spock message board. I came in here to research ear infections. What did I learn? If I would stay at home and get my kid some WIC vouchers maybe he would be better off. Well this working mother would rather work my tail off and give my kid a good life instead of have him grow up thinking I'm a loser that did nothing for him. You call what you do "good parenting" I call it LAZINESS. You make excuses so you don't feel bad for not contributing to your family--that's what it sounds like. I chat with SAHM's frequently and have never met one that judged me or said such horrible things. Unfortunately your children will be the ONLY ones who suffer from your negative attitudes. Best of luck to them--they need it.
