IN REPLY TO: pros and cons of preschool verses daycare/preschool
AUTHOR: Palomino
I would send my child to an in-home licensed daycare that offered preschool activities if the daycare was the smaller type. The advantages being--a closer relationship with the provider, and more one-on-one attention because of the lower ratio, plus the added bonus of preschool activities. I would not want my child getting lost in the shuffle. The preschools don't adjust to the needs of your child, the child fits in or they don't.
