Hi!!! I live 6 hours from my parents and my son is 3 months now. We go home every other month as this is my moms first grandbaby and our relationship is so amazing....Anyway, my best advice is stop often and dont make the stops hasty...put a blanket down and play for a few minutes on the grass at the rest stops. You know some rest area bathrooms are not the cleanest things, go to your wal-mart and in the section where the Depends and incontinence products are and get the disposable pads to lay down on the changing table in the bathroom before using it. This way you just scoop up the dirty diaper, wipe and pad and toss in the trash - simple and quick. We also have his favorite toys packed in a simple tote bag for easy access when he get tired of one thing. He does sleep alot though on the drive. Hope this helps a little...
