Hello Mom3,

You said several things in your post. Yeah, I got the part about how wonderful everything is. The job, the kids, the husband. They are all so wonderful you feel you lost your identity? Hmmm.
What's wrong with this picture?

Listen, you don't have to go out to find yourself. You just need some time to recharge. There is no way around it. You have a very tough job! Nothing is more demanding than a family. Nothing!

It sounds like your husband is the supportive sort. That's great. Use it! If you get overwhelmed and unhappy, no one is going to be happy. Putting your needs last is not some wonderful proof of your love. Life doesn't work that way.

Claim some alone time. YOU time. You might not even know what to do with it at first. Need to lose some weight? Claim 1 hr for a walk. Like to read? Claim the time for 3 chapters.

Honey, you matter. Let your family see that you know that. Set an example for your daughter. Teach her and your sons that you are Mommy, but you are also your own person. They need to see that. The best example you can set is a woman who knows how to take care of herself. THAT is a priority. Teach them and learn about yourself. You all win that way.
