 | Im torn on what to do, I was raised in a church atmosphere and I dont want to be demonic or join a cult, but I want to dress like a goth. I dont think that people should be judged by what they wear, but im scared of what people will say or do If I try it. Im a decently confident person, but I feel like im living two lives. One life is a good girl who goes to church every sunday, wears modest, normal clotheing and is a perfect little kid. The other 'life' im always depressed, im antisocial, I like heavy metal music, and I want to be 'darker'. It's like im wearing a mask and I dont know how to take it off. I hate my step-mother and she hates me, but I love my dad, and recently he's started to have heart problems. I dont want to cause him to be unhappy, but Im tired of being two people and putting what they want to see over what will make me happy. Im getting depressed over this, and I know it might seem like I just want attention, or that its a stupid reason to be depressed, but It's very much real, think what you want. If any parents, or teens out there have any idea's on how to tell them what I want then please respond asap. |
