I would definately go to another doctor there is no way that they can just tell you that you can't have children just because of depo. Did they do any test to check your fertility or anything. I know that you can get preg after depo I took it for a year and went off and I was pregnant almost 4 months later but I misscarried. I really stongly advise you check this out maybe there is a possibility that something is wrong but you really need to be checked out.
Just a tip if you don't have the money for a private dr. you can go to the health dept the base you visit on your income level. Sometimes it's even free. Hope this helps. Good luck.
