Prior to ThriveOnline, Mr. Markus was editor in chief of Parenting magazine and general editor for Time Inc. Ventures, where he oversaw the launch of Sunset, Parenting, and Health magazines on America Online. Under his direction, Parenting magazine was named Adweek's Hottest Magazine in America in 1990 and 1991. Previously, he was senior editor of the CBS-owned American Photographer magazine, and served as a press attache and reporter for the United Nations. He began his career as a news writer for United Press International. Mr. Markus is a graduate of Syracuse University and received his License of History from the University of Paris. | |  |
