Parent Sense provides expert child-health and parenting advice. The eight-episode series, co-produced by The Dr. Spock Company and Mind & Media, producers of the highly acclaimed Frontiers of Medicine, was distributed to public-television stations nationwide via the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA). In February 2001, The Dr. Spock Company partnered with the Discovery Health Channel to produce Sickle Cell: The Forgotten Disease. It is the first network television documentary on sickle cell disease and reveals the human face of this little-understood genetic disorder.
