Television & Radio
The Dr. Spock Company's expert-created content is broadcast on television and radio in a host of different formats--from a multipart series to in-depth 60-minute documentaries.

Parent Sense provides expert child-health and parenting advice. The eight-episode series, co-produced by The Dr. Spock Company and Mind & Media, producers of the highly acclaimed Frontiers of Medicine, was distributed to public-television stations nationwide via the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA). Parent Sense is currently airing in 35 percent of the national television market, which makes it available in over 37 million households. Learn more about the series at parentsense.net.

In February 2001, The Dr. Spock Company partnered with the Discovery Health Channel to produce Sickle Cell: The Forgotten Disease. It is the first network television documentary on sickle cell disease and reveals the human face of this little-understood genetic disorder.

The Dr. Spock Company also will produce radio inserts and videos from our content, and videos will be marketed to parents at stores, their pediatricians' offices, and other venues.

Books
At the center of the company's book publishing effort is Dr. Spock's Baby and Child Care, published since 1946 by Pocket Books. Generations of parents have relied on Dr. Benjamin Spock's timeless bestseller for support, inspiration, and information. Fifty million copies have been sold in 39 languages throughout the world.
